    Installing WP on your local machine allows you to archive your site without the need to be connected. Better yet, it provides the means to be able archive, annotate then publish locally content you deem important within pages and relevant categories. Here an example: Artist, composers and documentaries contain other resources you have added (downloaded) including media files like MPG 3 and MPEG4. Your commentary stays intact with the relevant content – all without having being connected to the Internet. Think of it as creating books which can be connected to other books of volumes using the HTML tags.

    Secondly, you may develop content locally if you have a slow internet connection. Say you working from your tiny house or RV – which at that location the Internet connection is not good.

    Hi.. why after the installation was completed a pop up says… “Problem running post-install step. Installation mat not complete correctly error running c:UsersownersDOCUME~1AWEBDE… “ and more. Thanks 🙏 for the reply. Actually before I begin , there is a note that say.. You have an Anti Melware Virus protection running that might affect the installation. Ugh 😩 Is there other means to download WordPress? Like from WordPress.org?

    This video is completely unhelpful on the Mac. You only get as far as the site hosted locally but never be able to log in – you never get able to make/enter any credentials to ever log in. No email address, no password – useless 🙁
